Rainy Zoo Day

On August 1st it was a pouring summer monsoon as we pulled into the Zoo. But today wasn't any normal Zoo trip it was special so the rain wasn't going to stop us! Grandma Cathy took all the Grandkids to the Zoo to meet her friend who is a Zoo Keeper.
Elephants are one of Zac's favorite animals and they were out enjoying the rain. It was probably the most active I had ever seen them.

The Dinosaurs were a fun addition to the Zoo. I am glad we got to see them all. Zac wasn't scared he just roared back and laughed, but he didn't like looking at me instead of the Dinosaurs for pictures. He loves his big boys cousins. He follows Brock and Garrett where ever they go and wants to be just like them.
Shelby, Chance, Zac, Jordyn chillin' in the strollers viewing the Giraffes.
All the Bennion Cousins excited to see the Giraffes.
They were even more excited when they got to FEED the Giraffes!

Look at that long tongue! This hungry Giraffe took the cracker out of my hand and licked Zac he laughed so hard...after.
Our attempt at getting the kids with the Zoo Keeper.
Zac had a great time at the Zoo he ran, touched everything, climbed and explored!

His new favorite attraction, the carousel.
Boys with long arms just monkey'in around!
Riding the Dinosaur was a highlight he did NOT want to move off, but wanted the Dinosaur to move like the carousel bear.
By the time we left the Zoo was drying out, the sun was peaking through the clouds and we were all tired from the fun animal adventures. Thanks Grandma Cathy for a great day!
